Position Overview:
The Ballroom Dancer will be responsible for performing various dance routines and choreographies in a professional and entertaining manner within a ballroom dance setting. Responsibilities:
- Perform ballroom dance routines, including Latin, Standard, and other dance styles, in live performances, competitions, and events.
- Execute intricate dance steps, movements, and formations with precision and grace.
- Collaborate with dance partners to ensure synchronized movements and seamless routines.
- Develop and rehearse new dance routines and choreographies with creativity and innovation.
- Adapt dance routines to different music genres and styles, while maintaining proper technique and style.
- Maintain physical fitness, flexibility, and stamina to meet the demands of dance performances.
- Continuously refine and improve dance techniques through regular practice and training.
- Stay updated with current trends, techniques, and styles in ballroom dancing.
- Work closely with dance instructors and coaches to receive feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Assist in organizing and participating in dance workshops, classes, and demonstrations.
- Interact professionally with colleagues, event organizers, and audiences.
- Adhere to safety regulations and precautions to prevent dance-related injuries.
- Represent the organization or dance company in a positive and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Ballroom Dancer or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in ballroom dance styles, including Latin and Standard.
- Exceptional dance skills, demonstrating mastery of various dance techniques and styles.
- Ability to perform complex dance routines with precision, coordination, and fluidity.
- Strong sense of rhythm, musicality, and timing.
